Riding a bike or swimming
Episodic Memory Characteristics
Involves time, place, and emotions.
Requires conscious recall (explicit memory).
What details are important for Episodic memory?
Contextual and emotional details are key.
Semantic Memory Characteristics
Knowledge is abstract and detached from personal experience.
Recollection is not tied to time and place.
What does Semantic Memory sometimes overlap with?
Sometimes overlaps with episodic memory as episodic memories can transform into semantic ones over time.
Procedural Memory Characteristics
Implicit memory (unconscious recall).
