- Non-Declarative - “Knowing how” - unconscious

Procedural - Remebering how to perform action - typically involves motor skills

2 pros 1 con of evidence for types of LTM

Pros:
* Brain scan evidence supports localisation of functions
* HM - brain damage patient could only form new procedural memories - not Declarative.
Con:
- Possible 4th type of LTM (doesn’t cover all types) - PRS - priming system appears controlled by different part of brain
