employees who work in offices or sales who take advantage of their position to commit crimes e.g. scamming
what is blue-collar crime?
a member of the working class who performs manual labour, these crimes are more obvious than white-collar crimes as there usually is an immediate victim and more police attention is attracted e.g. mugging, vandalism, assault
what are hate crimes?
an incident based on someones prejudice towards them because of their race, religion, sexuality or disability e.g. hate mail, assault, murder
what are cyber crimes?
specialist criminal groups targeting individuals, small businesses and large corporations to steal personal info and profit off the compromised data e.g. phishing, key logging
what is gun crime?
any crime committed using a firearm e.g. shooting a person, discharging a weapon or threatening someone with a gun or even carrying a gun or imitation gun
