Describe Secure Attachment
A

-Infants with this attachment type displayed moderate separation and stranger anxiety and were able to use their parents as a secure base. - - quickly comforted on reunion.

Insecure Avoidant
A
happy to explore without using their caregiver as a secure base and showed little response to being left or comforted by their caregiver and had no reaction to the stranger when left with them.
- They showed little reaction when the parent returned in the reunion. This attachment type made up around 15% of the results.

Insecure resistant
A
- last 15% of the results. This attachment type is characterised by infants who both seek and resist social interactions.
-When left, these infants displayed instant and intense distress and had the same reaction to the stranger in the room.
-When the caregiver returned to the room, the infants would resist being comforted but would seek contact with their caregiver in other ways they displayed an ambivalent reaction.
