What is Type 2 Diabetes?

Type 2 Diabetes is a progressive condition in which the body becomes resistant to the normal effects of insulin and/or has a reduced capacity to produce enough insulin in the pancreas.

What are the early signs of Type 2 Diabetes?
A
- Increased thirst, urination and hunger.
- Feeling tired.
- Blurred vision.
- Numbness or tingling in the feet or hands.
- Sores that do not heal.
- Unexplained weight loss.
- Itching, skin infections.
- Gradually putting on weight.
- Mood swings.
- Headaches.
- Cramping in the legs.
- Retinopathy and neuropathy.
