• AKA: Subaerolar abscess, Periductal mastitis, or Zuska dz.

o Commonly recur following drainage d/t remaining keratinizing epi.
o Curative if the duct & fistula tract are surgically removed.

  • 1/3 respond completely to Ab (trastuzumab) that bind & block receptor activity = excellent prognosis.
  • May respond to trastuzumab or may make them resistant to all tx
