TutorMe (Problem/Impact & PVPs) Flashcards
Human Connection
Problem: technology creating less human interactions
Impact: resulting in students who are disengaged and feel less supported.
With a need for more face-to-face interactions, we create opportunities for students to leverage technology in order to engage with a qualified tutor who cares whenever and wherever they need it.
Access to Tutoring
Problem: not enough 1:1 instructional support for students
Impact: teachers stressed; districts constantly looking to hire more staff; students may not be receiving the support they need
We lessen the stress on teachers and help districts improve learning outcomes for all students by not just providing access to qualified tutors, but partnering with each district to drive usage, adoption, and impact.
Access to Tutoring
Problem: current tutoring program is difficult for all grade levels to use as there may not be an interactive learning space or video/audio options
Impact: difficult to maintain uninterrupted learning for all students
Districts use our help to offer 24/7 tutoring through a digital environment that supports the learning needs of students and replicates face to face tutoring.
Enrichment
Problem: certain courses not availale or certain advanced topics not covered in the curriculum
Impact: students may become disengaged
We empower students to take charge of their own learning with the ability to explore topics and subjects with a qualified tutor that they would ordinarily not be able do.
Personalized Learning
Problem: stressful for teachers to provide personalized instruction across the wide range of abilities in their classrooms
Impact: individual needs of students not met
We help teachers gain real time insights into the strengths and weaknesses of their students and relieve them as sole providers of personalzied instruction
Ease of Use
Problem: difficult to use digital tools, so many tools used across the district gets confusing
Impact: tech fatigue, low adoption rates”
We lessen the stress on teachers when it comes to utilizing technology with robust training options and solutions designed using learning science principles that ensure they are easy to use, support best practices, and are backed by results.
Learning Recovery
Problem: Learning recovery has resulted in a wide range of abilities teachers face in their classrooms
Impact: hard for teachers to address the wide range of differentiated needs
We lessen the stress on teachers with supplemental 1:1 supports for their students, and reduce time spent grading and reviewing by providing their students with timely feedback on assignments.
