What is the Otago HEDC definition of critical thinking?
“The process of reasonable, reflective thinking that is
focused on deciding what to believe or do, and that is aware of weaknesses in certain models and requires a degree of distance from the problem to appreciate its complexity in full.”
What are the levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy (from bottom to top)?
RUAAEC (Remember, Ultimately, All Alcohol Ends Careers)
Remember – Recall facts and basic concepts.
Understand – Explain ideas or concepts.
Apply – Use information in new situations.
Analyze – Draw connections among ideas.
Evaluate – Justify a decision or viewpoint.
