Define reline.
A
Adding new base material to the tissue surface of an existing denture in quantity sufficient to fill the space between the original denture contour and the alerted tissue contour

A
Removing the original base and replacing the entire denture base material (ie leave a horse shoe of acrylic with teeth)

- temporary

A
- tissue conditioning when grossly ill fitting dentures
- post imediate dentures
- after implant surgery
