Beátus qui intéllegit super egénum, et páuperem: * in die mala liberábit eum Dóminus.
blessed who understands of the needy (those who genu) and the poor….in the day of evil they will be liberated by the Lord
Dóminus consérvet eum, et vivíficet eum, et beátum fáciat eum in terra: * et non tradat eum in ánimam inimicórum eius.
The Lord conserves them, and vivifies him, and blessed makes them on the earth….and doesn’t trade him to the souls of his enemies
Dóminus opem ferat illi super lectum dolóris eius: * univérsum stratum eius versásti in infirmitáte eius.
the Lord help (optimizes) will bring him on his bed of pain….his whole bed converts (to health) in his infirmity
Ego dixi: Dómine, miserére mei: * sana ánimam meam, quia peccávi tibi.
I said: Lord have mercy on me. Heal my soul (sanatize)….bc I have sinned against you
Inimíci mei dixérunt mala mihi: * Quando moriétur, et períbit nomen eius?
My enemies speak evil against me. when will he die and perish his name
Et si ingrediebátur ut vidéret, vana loquebátur: * cor eius congregávit iniquitátem sibi.
And if he entered (ingress)…to see me….vain speaking…his heart congregated iniquity to itself
Judas
Egrediebátur foras, * et loquebátur in idípsum.
He egressed out…and spoke for the same purpose (trying to make others sin)
Advérsum me susurrábant omnes inimíci mei: * advérsum me cogitábant mala mihi.
against me…they whispered (sushed) aall my enemies…against me…they thought of evils to me
Verbum iníquum constituérunt advérsum me: * Numquid qui dormit non adíciet ut resúrgat?
words of iniquity they constituted against me….NEVER he who sleeps will add (increase) or resurges
Étenim homo pacis meæ, in quo sperávi: * qui edébat panes meos, magnificávit super me supplantatiónem.
In fact…the man of my peace, in who I trusted….who ate my bread….he has magnified over me and supplanted me.

Tu autem, Dómine, miserére mei, et resúscita me: * et retríbuam eis.
But you, Lord, have mercy on me and resusitate me and I pay retribution to them

In hoc cognóvi quóniam voluísti me: * quóniam non gaudébit inimícus meus super me.
By this I know, because you favored me (voted, volunteer, volition)…because they won’t rejoice, my enemies, over me
Me autem propter innocéntiam suscepísti: * et confirmásti me in conspéctu tuo in ætérnum.
But me…because of my innocence, you supported me (made me susceptible to your influence)……… and confirmed me in your sight for eternity
THE ASCENSION
Benedíctus Dóminus, Deus Israël, a sǽculo et usque in sǽculum: * fiat, fiat.
bless Lord, God of Israel, from eternity to eternity. so be it. so be it
Quemádmodum desíderat cervus ad fontes aquárum: * ita desíderat ánima mea ad te, Deus.
As (quasi) desires the deer for the founts of water…so desires my soul for you God.
Sitívit ánima mea ad Deum fortem vivum: * quando véniam, et apparébo ante fáciem Dei?
thirsts (salivates) my soul for God, the strength of life….when will I come and appear before the face of God.
Fuérunt mihi lácrimæ meæ panes die ac nocte: * dum dícitur mihi cotídie: Ubi est Deus tuus?
have been my tears, bread day and night….while said to me daily: where is your God

Hæc recordátus sum, et effúdi in me ánimam meam: * quóniam transíbo in locum tabernáculi admirábilis, usque ad domum Dei.
These things I remembered, and overflowed out of my soul. for I will transit into the location of the tabernacle admirable…up to the house of God
In voce exsultatiónis, et confessiónis: * sonus epulántis.
with the voice of exsultation and confession….sounds of opulence (feasting)
Quare tristis es, ánima mea? * et quare contúrbas me?
Why are you sad, my soul…and why do you make me turbulent (trouble me)
Spera in Deo, quóniam adhuc confitébor illi: * salutáre vultus mei, et Deus meus
Hope in God, because still I will praise him…salvation of my countenance….is my God
