Ut quid, Deus, repulísti in finem: * irátus est furor tuus super oves páscuæ tuæ?
but why, God, do you repel us to the end….your anger is fury over the sheep of your pasture?
oves = sheep
Memor esto congregatiónis tuæ, * quam possedísti ab inítio.
Remember your congregation, which you have possessed from the initial (beginning)

they set fire to your sanctuary…on earth they pollute the tabernacle of your name

They said in their heart with the same mind…Let us silence (quiesce) all days of festival of God from the land.
cognatio = family/kinsmen
Signa nostra non vídimus, iam non est prophéta: * et nos non cognóscet ámplius.

But God is our king before ages: * he operates salvation in the midst of earth

Tu confirmásti in virtúte tua mare: * contribulásti cápita dracónum in aquis.
you made firm by your strength the sea….brought tribulation to the head of dragons in the water.

you fragmented the heads of dragons….you made them food for the people of ethiopia
ethiopians lived around the red sea…now the egyptians are their victims

Don’t avert them…the humble who are confused….poor and weak (inoperable) praise your name
Exsúrge, Deus, iúdica causam tuam: * memor esto improperiórum tuórum, eórum quæ ab insipiénte sunt tota die.
Surge, O God, judge your cause….remember you declare improper…those who are insipient (foolish) all day
Ne obliviscáris voces inimicórum tuórum: * supérbia eórum, qui te odérunt, ascéndit semper.
Don’t forget in oblivion the voices of your enemies….their pride…who hate you…ascends always
