- Unlimited migration within the EU allowed Polish migrants to move freely until Brexit
- Exchange rate meant that the Polish Zloty was favourable and so money could be sent back home to family
- Many available jobs in UK, especially construction, advertisements went up in Poland advertising jobs in the UK
- NHS healthcare is free
