Treaty of Redon (1489)
Treaty signed between England and Brittany. Henry VII wanted to protect Brittany from France and Anne, Duchess of Brittany, agreed to pay for an English army that would protect England from France. Based on the terms of the accord, Henry sent 6000 English troops to fight (at the expense of Brittany) under the command of Lord Daubenay.
Treaty of Medina del Campo (1489)
Treaty signed between England and Spain. The treaty provided for a marriage alliance between Prince Arthur and Catherine of Aragon, strengthening the ties between the two nations.
Treaty of Etaples (1492)
Treaty signed between England and France. Following the invasion of France, Charles VIII of France agreed to not support any more pretenders to the throne, in return for being recognised as ruler of the Duchy of Brittany, and Henry was to receive a pension of 5000 crowns per year from France.
