How to preform ELISA Tests
Quick 8-10 min
run in hospital
-few drops of blood from vein
-use conjugate that came with the box
-keep flat when running
-room temp when using
What is an ELISA test?
*based on virus/bacteria, detects antibody or antigen presence
*Recent vaccination can cause false positives
*Always possible for a false negative like any test
*Referral labs will have confirmatory tests
