Example of Identifying the problem
- Make backups before any changes
- Take pictures of what it is like
- Reviewing system logs and app logs
Example of Establishing a theory of probable cause
- Check if everything is plugged in
- Check if the devices are receiving power
- Physically check everything internally and externally.
Examples of testing the theory to determine probable cause
- figuring out if the theory is correct.
2. if not go back to step 2 and make a new theory.
Examples of establishing a plan of action
- Find a way to fix it. and put a solution on device.

- Check if everything checks out

- Writing down the steps you took to fix the problem
- Write it down on one-note, apple notes, or even a notebook.
( this is so you can go back and fix the problem a lot quicker or to teach someone else how to fix the problem if it reoccurs.)
