where are tropical storms found?

A

above the equator near the Tropic of Cancer. Most of them are found in the pacific ocean and the Indian Ocean. The least amount occur in the south Atlantic Ocean and many occur at the latitude is between 23.5° north of the Tropic of Cancer and 23.5° south of the Tropic of Capricorn. There are none in the Southern Ocean and Arctic Ocean because it is too cold as they are the furthest away from the equator.
