Singing is a physical and emotional activity and this can mean that people are more focused on their worship and become fully involved in the prayer.

Pieces of poetry from the Book of Psalms often set to music or sung. It is an important part of the Divine Office as it forma the basis of hymns used in the churh during mass
It centred around praising God and the joy of it and covers a range of human experiences and recognition of God as creator
What is the plainchant and why is it used
It is an ancient form of music that is usually sung without instruments and used in church services
The Catholic Church considers it to be ideal to use in the mass as it is specifically suited to liturgy

Religious song that praises God that has been used for hundreds of years- sung during mass

God the father - Almighty/ creator of all things. He is the father because he creates life.
God the Son – Jesus Christ. Christians get to know God through Jesus. He is the “only begotten Son of God” and so he is eternal. Jesus and God have the same nature. Jesus took human force to save us from sin.
Holy Spirit - Gives life to all things. Takes messages and prayers to God. Lives in every Christian, to give them courage, comfort and guidance.

“God”- God is creator but he was not alone
“Wind from God”-translated to spirit shows that holy spirit was present during creation
“Then God said” God created by his word God the son also created by his word
