What is triune God belief?
The Christian belief that there are three persons in one God
What are the key beliefs?
There is only one God
Within the one God there are three persons
The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit are all God
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are all equal
The Trinity is a mystery – cannot be explained logically

Why is being the children of God important?
Christians are ‘children of God’ – they can have an intimate relationship with God, whom they can call ‘Abba’ (Father)

Son- God created using the power of his Word (reference to the Son)

• The Son is eternally begotten from the Father (brought into being)
• The Father and Son have always co-existed

Why do we use traditional prayers?
It is a sense of respect and comfort, and Jesus said use that our father
What is a spontaneous prayer?
A prayer with no set words and we make them up as we say them
Why do we use spontaneous prayers?
For any occasion, and it might feel more sincere
Why should we pray on our own?
Jesus said pray, without making a big show of it, showing we should only do it with ourselves
