Who is Brahman?
A
The supreme universal spirt from whom all things come, the trimurti gods are merely three versions of him.

Describe brahma
A
The first god of the trimurti, the creator of the world and is the least worshipped of the trimurti gods.

Describe Vishnu
A
A kindly god, concerned with the welfare of humans. He visits the earth in different forms to protect us from disaster. He is the sustainer.

Describe shiva
A
Worshipped by 1/4 of Hindus, he is the destroyer and is both frightening and kind. He has four hands showing he holds life, death, good and evil.

What determines which god Hindus worship?
A
Where one lives and how one is brought up. Some don’t see the trimurti as manifestations of Brahman, but as gods in their own right.
