Lacrimal Nerve
Skin & conjunctiva of lateral part of upper eyelid
- Supraorbital nerve:
emerge through supraorbital notch- supplies
forehead & scalp upto scalp
- Supratrochlear nerve
medial to supraorbital nerve- middle of forehead & scalp
Infratrochlear Nerve:
runs below the trochlea of superior oblique muscle of eye- medial part of upper eyelid and side of nose
External nasal nerve:
continuation of anterior ethmoidal nerve- tip and ala of nose
Infraorbital Nerve:
Continuation of maxillary nerve- infraorbital foramen- lower eyelid, upper lip, cheek, Side & ala of the nose.
Zygomatico Facial nerve
supplies skin over zygomatic bone
Zygomatico temporal nerve
Supplies the skin of the anterior part of the temple at the level of upper eyelid.
- Auriculo- temporal nerve:
Auricular- external acoustic meatus, tympanic membrane, pinna
of the ear.
Temporal- Skin of the temple
Buccal Branch
Skin over the cheek – pierces buccinator muscle- supplies mucous membrane of vestibule of the mouth
Mental Nerve
Branch of inferior alveolar nerve- mental foramen- supplies skin & mucous membrane of lower lip & labial gum upto pre-molar teeth
