Hence tan sin (-x) = - tan - sin of x
And even means cos (-x) = cos x

How to differntiate from first princplies , and differntiate cos x from first

A

Pick a point x , will have coordinate f of x
Pick a point x +h away, will have y f(x+h)

Now the grsdient is the limit as h tends to 0 of change in / change in x
So f(x+h)- f(x) / h
Now sub these in, use compound angle, and now use SMALL ANGLE APPROX because h is small

Divide by h ( want to ger to this stage)
Once divided , now take the limit

Becomes -sin
