Been shown to increase risk of endometrial carcinoma
Increased risk of DVT

How does Herceptin work ?
Immunotherapy which targets the HER2 receptors within the malignancy
Monoclonal antibody
What Endocrine treatment is preferred in pre vs post menopausal women ?
Pre menopause = tamoxifen
Post menopause = Aromatase inhibitors
Risks of Aromatase Inhibitors?
Only used post menopause
Increases risk of osteoporosis (may require bisphosphonates to prevent this)
Types of surgical treatment ?
Wide local excision (WLE)
Mastectomy
