- Precipitating factors (what cause them to come see you? Trauma etc.)
- Perpetuating factors (what’s making this a continual problem? In the case of depression perhaps Isolation)
- Protective factors (things that are helping eg. getting a coffee with friends

- Working on changing the thoughts rather than the emotions (interrelations between thoughts, behaviours, emotions)
