A
  • penetrating injuries to head, neck, or torso and extremities proximal to the elbow or knee
  • chest wall deformity
  • two or mote proximal long bone fracture
  • crushed, degloved, or mangled pulssless extremity
  • amputation proximal to the wrist
  • pelvic fracture
  • open or depressed skull fracture
  • paralysis

what is the mechanism of injury criteria for FTT

A
  • falls >6 meters (one story is = to 3 meters) ages less than 15 falles >3 meters or two to three times the childs height
  • high risk auto crash
    pedestrian struck >30km/hr
  • motorcycle crash >30 km/hr
