In an Intraoral Trauma Examination, what do you need to look out for?
Soft tissues (any penetrating wounds, foreign bodies)
Occlusion (traumatic occlusion demands urgent treatment)
Teeth (mobility can indicate tooth displacement or bone fractures)
Transillumination (may show fracture lines, pulpal degeneration)
Percussion (duller note may indicate root fracture)
