It is due to substances such as oxygen can diffuse into the cell quickly enough to keep the organism alive

A
Every circuit of the body travels through the heart twice in a double circulatory system, but only once in a single circulatory system

Why is a double circulatory system better for humas?
A
If the blood is pumped twice by the heart then it means that blood is moving faster, which makes it more efficient, so blood gets where it needs faster
