Transmission is a way of transporting electricity to your homes.

Explain how electricity is transmitted from where it is produced to your home.
A
First when the power plant produces electricity, at the transmission sub-station, an object called a transformer steps up the voltage so it could go through the high voltage lines that travel long distances. Then, at the power sub-station, another transformer steps down the voltage, and a transformer drum does that even more, so that it is safe to go to homes.
