Q
Prioritize Assessment needs for a patient experience TIA
A
- Neurologic Assessment
- Routine Laboratory (aPTT, PT, INR)
- Diagnostic Testing (ECG, CT, MRI, CTA, MRA)
5
Q
Interventions for TIA
A
- Minimally invasive surgery to remove atherosclerotic plaque buildup within the carotid artery to increase perfusion
- Carotid angioplasty with stunting
- Prescribing antiplatelets (aspirin, clopidogrel)
- Reducing Blood pressure
- Controlling diabetes
- Promoting lifestyle changes (smoking cessation, healthy diet, increasing mobility and physical activity)
