Pupils should be Equal in size, Round and Regular in shape and react to Light and Accomodation

How to test for Constriction:
A
- Ask patient to close eyes and dim the room lights
- Bring a pen light in from the side of the patient’s head and shine the light in the eye being tested as soon as the patient opens their eyes
- The pupil being tested should constrict (direct response)
- The other pupil should also constrict slightly (consensual response)

How to test for Accomodation:
A
- Ask patient to focus on a distant object and then immediately look at an object 4-5 inches away from the nose
