Reflections
A reflection is a flip of the original.
A reflection across the X-axis maps the point (X,Y), to the point (X,-y).
Translations
A translation is a slide of the original.
Rule:(x+h,y+k)
If h is positive move the point right
If h is negative move the point left
If k is positive move the point up
if the k is negative move the point down
Rotations
A Rotation is a turn of the original shape.
CLOCKWISE
90 degrees-(x,y)–>(y,-x)
180 degrees-(x,y)–>(-x,-y)
270 degrees-(x,y)–>(-y,x)
360 degrees-(x,y)–>(x,y)
COUNTERCLOCKWISE
90 degrees-(x,y)–>(-y,x)
180 degrees-(x,y)–>(-x,-y)
270 degrees-(x,y)–>(y,-x)
360 degrees-(x,y)–>(x,y)
