Why is Rapid Response important for a business?
Businesses cannot afford to have customers waiting for a TPS to respond. The turnaround time from the input of the transaction to the production of the output must be a few seconds or less.
Describe Atomicity?
ensures that all of the steps involved in a transaction are completed successfully as a group. If any step fails, no other step should be completed.
What is concurrency?
ensures that two users cannot change the same data at the same time.
Used to check the entry of transaction data.
Data Validation
A process performed by the data entry person to ensure the data for each transaction has been entered correctly.
