How do you know if TPWS on track has failed?
A
TPWS track equipment faults are indicated by a blue ‘fault’ indication on the signalling panel.
It may be necessary to ask the driver to confirm if the signal is lit or not.
In colour light areas, if there is a TPWS fault at a signal, the signal in rear will usually be held at danger until the affected signal displays a proceed aspect and its TPWS is no longer required to be energised.
