SIGNAL DANGER NO APPARENT REASON

If a controlled signal has returned to danger for no apparent reason:

tell ops and ask for signalling technician to attend

• only allow a train to approach the signal when it is at danger

• only clear the signal when approaching train is at or nearly at a stand at it

You must continue this method of working until the signalling technician tells you that normal working can be resumed.
