CLINICAL PATHOGENIC
A
Trophozoites infect many organs esp. brain, eyes and liver. Cyst persist in tissue.
C/F:
Most initial infections are asymptomatic
Congenital infections include abortion, stillbirth, encephalitis, mental retardation and visual problems.

TREATMENT
A
Sulfonamide and pyrethamine

PREVENTION
A
Meat should be cooked. Pregnant women should not handle cats
