Atropine - Dose
0.5 - 1 mg every 5 minutes x 3 doses
Calcium - Dose
Chloride: 1-3 g IV
Gluconate: 3-9 g IV
Insulin - Dose
1 units/kg bolus
1-10 units/kg/hr
glucose to maintain > 100 mg/dL
Clonidine - Clinical Effects
transient hypertension & tachycardia
hypotension & bradycardia
CNS depression
respiratory depression
Clonidine - Treatment
naloxone 5-10 mg bolus
supportive care (fluids, atropine, vasopressors)
