Define Gateway
A gateway is a point of entry into a country or a point of departure from a country
Define Inbound flight
An inbound flight is one that is coming in to land at an airport
Define Outbound flight
An outbound flight is one that is leaving an airport
Domestic flights
Domestic flights are flights that travel from one airport in a country to another airport in the same country
Regional flight
Regional flights occur when a flight leaves a country to go to another country in the same region
Intercontinental flights
Flights that travel between continents, or one that goes from one continent to another
Transcontinental flights
A transcontinental flight is one flies across a continent
Transatlantic flights
This is a very specific intercontinental flight, whereby flights that fly across the North Atlantic Ocean not the SAO are considered to be transatlantic flights
Connecting flights
A flight that passengers must sometimes take to reach their final destination when they are unable to take a direct flight, normally involving a change of aircraft or sometimes airlines
Chartered flights
Special flights put for a group of special people by a large airline, or flights operated by a small airline company that does not fly according to the timetable

What are International Airports?
Are airports that deal with inbound and outbound foreign flights, and should have facilities for immigration and custom officials
What are National Airports?
Are airports in the country, generally operated by the government of the country
What are Privately Owned Airports?
These are airports that are not owned or operated by the government
What are private landing strips?
They are merely flat stretches of ground on which aircrafts can land
