- it’s main route is from Pretoria to Cape Town and back which is approximately a 27 hour journey

- prides itself for being the most luxuries train in the world
- the biggest difference between the Rovos rail and the Blue Train is the length of their journeys and their suites
- Rovos Rail has three different suites while the Blue train has only two

- the longest journey is 15 nights 16 days Southern Cross Adventure which travels from Johannesburg to Maputo, than Swaziland to Bulawayo in Zimbabwe and will end at Livingstone in Zambia
