-tourism is the main source of employment in Jamaica,providing 200,000 jobs directly and indirectly
-employment in tourism provides income which helps to further boost the economy
How has tourism effected the environment?
-cruise ships destroy marine ecosystems
-tourists can litter and erode footpaths
