Blackpool did appeal as one of its strategies fr the Super Casino which could have helped to increase tourism, but unfortunately in the end, Manchester won the appeal.

Do I think the strategies have worked?

A

In my opinion I think that the strategies are working, but as the figures show (58% were day trippers with only 42% stayed for one night or more) more attractions need to be introduced to the resort and the resort also needs to be more accessible for visitors to get to.
