A

-CV/Resp Anaesthetics workup
Ix: FBE, CRP, UECs, Coag profile (APTT/INR), Urinalysis and culture
-Imaging: standing AP, lateral, patellofemoral, long leg, standing knee ext/45’ flexion

A
  • Knee sepsis
  • Remote ongoing infection
  • Extensor mechanism dysfunction
  • Severe vascular disease
  • Recurvatum deformity
  • Well functioning knee arthrodesis
