Oxy-Acetylene
A
- Wide Flammability range of 2.5% to 81%
- Acetylene stabilized by acetone - DO NOT DROP or INVERT
- If laid down or inverted; acetylene cylinder must be upright for the length of time it was laid down.
- Do not operate acetylene above 15 psi
- Flame Temp: 5720 F
- Must use spark arrestors to prevent backflash
- Oxygen = Right Handed Threads
- Full Tank = 2000 psi - Acetylene = left-handed threads
- Full tank = 200-250 psi
- Hand Wheel = no more than 1 1/2 turns
- Valve = NO MORE than 3/4 turn
