Cribbing
A
- Southern Yellow Pine or Douglas Fir
- Maintain 4” overlap on box cribbing
- 4x4 = 6,000 lbs per point of contact
- 6x6 = 15,000 lbs per point of contact

Box Cribbing
A
- Should not routinely exceed 3x the width minus overlap if all 4 points are loaded
- Never stack more that 2 high in the same direction
- Overlap edges by dimension of the cribbing to ensure slow, crushing failure.
- Recommended 3x3 crib tower be used for airbag operations

Shims and Wedges
A
- Place cut side to cut side
- Can produce 500-700 lbs of lift due to MA
- A set of 4x4 wedges can effectively lift 6” without being overdriven.
