The way anything non-human communicates without the use of words. Animals communicate differently to others by the use of their body parts or by making sounds. Their manner of communication affects the behavior of the receiver and the sender of the information or message.
Non-human communication
It used to send information from one member to another by producing a sound. This form of communication is widely used in the animal kingdom.
Auditory communication
This communication in animals is based on visible signals. Few of these visual communication forms might not seem obvious at first glance, but with close inspection, you will be able to understand them.
Visual Communication
This communication is said to be the most common form of animal communication. Tactile communication requires touching and the participants to be nearby. Animals usually prefer to stay in groups which put limitations on tactile communication.
Tactile Communication
This is a form of animal communication where the animals leave behind pheromones in the environment for different reasons. Pheromones are the chemical substances produced and released by animals that affect the behavior or psychology of other animals of their own species.
Chemical Communication
The team introduced her to a lexigram and she was able to distinguish many terms and symbols. Those who worked with Lana consider her an amazing chimp who has extraordinary skills in communication. She could communicate to the researchers or lab assistants to do things for her such as adding food on her plate or request some items to be brought to her.
