* Hates USA power + influnce over Cuba= dosn’t want anthink to do with USA
=> Americans lose land in Cuba ( to GOV)
=>USA worries about loss of important business, lots of Americans leave cuba

* Could clearly cause damge to USA if fired
* CIA tells kennedy: SU fleet sailing to CUBA with missiles
* Kendy must deal with as threat to national secrity

->PUBLIC PREASSURE- AMerican want CUBA to be dealt with

* No attack: 22nd oct not attack/invade Cuba ( too risky)
* Naval bockade: blokade around Cuba=no permition=no pass
* TV apperance: announces plams + told about missisles
* worry of nuclear war: Americans think SU would ignpre bolackade= USA would need to attack.
* Bombs ready:Asked 54 bomber with neuclear wepons to be ready
* SU retreat: 24th Oct rech blokade and turn around, Kendy succes SU backs down
* Telegram from khrushchev: SU aggres to remove missiles if USA primise not to invade Cuaba+ remove Turkish missles
