three aspects that characterize work and organizational psychology
- the behavior of working people. attitudes, emotions, habits, work actions etc.
- the concept of employment or work. work refers to the activities someone performs.

work psychology
the study of how people think and behave at work. Work psychology is a discipline which covers a broad range of issues from recruitment to conflict resolution.
personnel psychology
Primarily deals with the recruitment, selection and evaluation of personnel, and with other job aspects such as morale, job satisfaction, and relationships between managers and workers in the workplace.
organizational psychology
Focuses on evaluating individual, group, and organizational dynamics and using that research to identify solutions to problems that improve the well-being and performance of an organization and its employees.
Hawthorne Effect
employees will perform better when they feel singled out for special attention or feel that management is concerned about employee welfare.
fundamental research
more theoretical question behavior in the workplace respond in the same manner than victims.
applied research
practical issue in the workplace. Conduct scientific research and apply it to real-world situations.
