Speed = Distance / Time
What units is speed measured in

On a distance time graph - time goes on the x axis and distance on the y axis.
If the line is straight what does that mean?
The person is not moving as distance stays the same
On the distance time graph if the line is steep what would that mean?
The person is travelling fast as covering a certain distance in a short amount of time

Increase the size of force (N)
Increase the distance from the pivot (M)
On a seesaw the principle of moments is shown when it is balanced. What does this mean
The anticlockwise moment is the same size as the clockwise moment
What is a lever
A machine that makes work easier e.g. a crowbar
What is the centre of mass (or centre of gravity)
The point at which all foces act - be able to show the centre of gravity in a circle/square
To keep an object stable what does the object need to have
Wide base
Low centre of gravity
