Mifepristone = anti progesterone given under supervision
then
Misoprostol = PGE1 analogue given 36-48 hrs later.

Contraindication of Medical TOP

A

Hypersensitivity or allergy to prostaglandins or product,
Ectopic pregnancy
Gestational trophoblastic disease
Intrauterine device remove
Obstructive cervical lesions e.g. fibroids
High suspicion of placenta accrete or
High risk of uterine rupture.
