What are the types of Infrastructure solutions does Oracle Provide?
- A development platform

What is an Oracle Cloud- Based Application?
An application you subscribe to that is hosted “somewhere else” and available to users through network connections.
How many environments will CX Sales/Services receive?
- A production environment scaled to requirements.
A nonproduction environment for development.
What are some characteristics of cloud-based applications
- Zero Footprint
- No Hardware Maintenance
- No Applying Updates *
- There is some admin work pre & post-update.
What is a pod?
An environment. The terms are interchangeable.
What is a CSI?
A Customer Service Identification number. It is provided in the welcome email.
What is in the welcome email?
- Access Link
- Username
- Temporary Password
- Subscription details
- CSI (Customer Service Identification number) for working with support.
Oracle Cloud Console
Web interface for managing application deployment.
It is NOT the application used to run your business & process transactional data.
What is the Oracle Cloud Console used to do?
- Create instances of your application.
- Add Contacts , users, and administrators for cloud administration & monitoring notifications.
- Monitor system status
- Request changes to your overall deployment.
Who are Oracle Cloud Console Contacts?
Individuals that should receive notifications about the overall environment, like planned maintenance , service outages, and security incidents.
Contacts may be associated with multiple services.
Who are Oracle Cloud Console Users?
They can sign into the Oracle Cloud Console to:
1. View Notifications
2. Access Applications where access has been granted
3. Manage their own accounts (contact info, passwords, & preferences)
Who are Oracle Cloud Console Administrators?
They can do everything a user can do AND:
1. Manage user accounts
2. Manage contacts
3. Manage services
There should always be at least 1 backup admin for each service.

Describe “Setup an Maintenance”
The primary tool used to access setup tasks you need in your implementation. Through it you manage implementation projects, and run configuration tasks
Describe Profile Options
Specific configuration settings you adjust for your implementation.
Ex. Enabling auto assignment of opportunities when they are created.
Describe the Security Console
The tool used to:
1. Explore existing security roles
2. Create user-defined security roles
3. Manage user passwords and password requirements
4. Manage security notifications
Describe Scheduled Processes
Used to schedule immediate or period jobs.
Describe Oracle Business Intelligence (BI)
Used to create or modify analyses, reports, infolets, dashboards, etc.
Describe the Application Composer
Used to configure objects, relationships, and business logic as well as configuring what users can see and do on certain UI pages.
Describe the Page Composer
Used to manage analytics pages and content and some saved searches
