Describe the differences between the oral and pharyngeal tongue.
The oral tongue is the front 2/3 within the oral cavity. The oral tongue includes the tip, blade, front and back.
The pharyngeal tongue is the back 1/3 (base). It is within the oropharynx.
What are the 4 intrinsic muscles of the tongue?
- superior longitudinal

What is the function of the superior longitudinal muscle?
