For common areas (potential residents) what is the requirement for the toilet paper rolls?
This is covered by ADA.
The roll must be centered 7” to 9” off the nose of the toilet. And 19” off the finished floor.
Toilets in the common area intended for resident use only (pool area, gym, etc) must have what requirement for the toilet paper?

The roll must fall between 24” and 36” off the back wall and be at least 19” above finished floor.
Toilet stalls need to meet what size requirements?
They need to meet the following.
Depth:
- 59” for floor mounted toilets
- 56” for wall mounted toilets
*add 6” to these if there is no toe space under the nose of the bowl.
Width:
- 60” if toe space is provided on bottom of stall wall.
- 66” if stall wall goes down to floor
When checking to see if a doors swing will impact the clear floor space of a common area bathroom sink, what dimension do you need off the sink’s countertop edge?
